Promotion

Gordon is leaving the deli, which means there wont be an assistant manager....except that i am going to be it now so it all works out. Yeah, i'm gonna be the assistant manager. YAY! So first things first....slapping the slackers around. The people who do shit horribly......fix. No actually i've already been trying to do this. But now David will be supervisor so that means that he can tell people what to do also, so that means I dont haveto tell them his problems, when he can do it himself.

Today, was a very.....very full day. Lots happened. I got a call from the hardware store saying that I got the job, but then he tried to push me around and tell me he needed me to come in on a day that I told him I wouldnt be available. I told him I would call him back on this. Then I went to the deli and had a long needed meeting with Lindsey in the walk in and got promoted. (officially, i think she had to talk to the owner about it first, which today is the one day a week that he comes into the deli...) so yeah, more money, more things to do, more power to push on the high schoolers. (not that i would abuse it, because i dont think i'm hard enough). But I dont like being a bitch, but i have the job title to be one. Nobody ever liked me anyways, so why am I complaining?

cant wait to move out...the place we were going to look at Saturday, the lady called back this morning and said it's been rented out. Very rudely, too. Cant waitto get taxes back too, this is a nice thing, i'll get around 700 back. Just in time (hopefully) to move out of here.

Anyways, i love you Aunt Pam, thank you for sending the pictures, I love you Jessica, wherever you are, please friggin call me or mail me, you know the people to get these from.

HAPPY END OF THE YEAR!!!! Do something rememberable! :D

Overtime overload

Ahh....just sitting back and relaxing with my stressful schedule this week.....closing the store is harder than i thought. The only thing that makes it easy is having a third person. But since the middle shift person is a high schooler and requested this week off to study for her finals (the one time that i would have liked to see her work)...and oh there's more. The two normal closers are both not closing at all ths week...a long time ago Teresa fell on an orange peel at work and hurt her knee. A few days later she fell on the wet floor again on the same knee. She cant work this week and next week due to her having surgery on it. She's lucky we dont have banannas....but i must say that if i werent so hyperactive I would have been severely injured several times by now...but I somehow tend to catch myself, maybe because I'm "superwonderful??" no....light and fast like a kitty kat. Now that it's rainy here we have more floor mats, but they might still not stop me from severely inuring myself.

Also...Danny, the other supervisor who always closes, his wife had their baby Sunday night, so he just got lucky and got to have a week off. It is alot more peaceful closing with David, there are no other workers that I have to deal with or boss around.

So rewind to about a week or more ago, my starter died. Yes.....explain later. David is tightening the third and final bolt (mine had three for some reason) and something tears the back of his hand. He keeps going. It happens in another spot. This is his left hand. He's left handed. At work he has to technically wear a glove all day on that hand, even if it's bandaged. So he is the cashier for days. Fast forward to last night. We are very hungry and have been busy all night. David is making a sandwich for us to split. He is cutting the bacon into bits, which is a tough thing to cut when crispy, so one needs to use much force.......then he cuts his right hand thumb. And nail. I had to work very hard last night to close the store, he couldnt do very much. He can hardly roll his own cigarettes right now. So a few more days of closing, cant miss out on all that overtime so we'll be closing until Sunday.

The Internet

Wonderful thing 'tis, you can find jobs, find things you need or want, talk to your family, listen to streaming music, watch streaming video, download lots of stuff, learn about things that you never really thought about before, and well, just about everything. Even find out where the closest anything is.

I have been online all day.....my back is in severe pain, my knees hurt, i cant communicate with people in the room, I am very tired, and I keep going back to ebay for digital cameras. I bought a few things online, I am glad about it :D do you like The Office??? I bought a Dunder Mifflen hoodie....and a shirt for David that says Beer Pong Champion. Ahh.....well now I'm off to watch stuff on nbc.com since visiting the site was enough to intrigue me to know what is going on with Passions and Days. Not that I am going to start watching it again, just interested in knowing. I heart NBC!!

And hats off to my brother.

Perservere

Yes yes...perservere. One must perservere. I really appreciate this word. This defines what one must do in life.

Moving on...and perservering..........or should I say, trying to...we need to go to an eye doc and also a dentist. Soon. Someone has had their wisdom teeth for far too long and needs them pulled. I am glad that mine (hopefully, according to the fact that my mother AND my father both didnt recive their wisdom teeth until they were past 25...) will not come in for a few more years. I think my ma's came in when she was around 29...let's cross our fingers.

Well, I thought I had more to say but I guess I dont, so I shall go take a nap now...mmm sleep...

Beer and Nuts and fun stuff

So we didnt end up going, again, to our hiking trip that we have yet to ever go to.....but we did bottle our 10 gallons of homebrew today. After of course, we went to SC and bought a key for the rabbit that didnt work and drove all around hungry as hell....As we were waiting for everything to dry to bottle, almost as fun as watching paint dry; we somehow ended up talking about the walnut tree and i realized that i didnt even know there was one at Gordon's property. So very excited, i ran down and around the buildings and well what do you know....there are some WALNUTS STILL!!!!! unlike my property, where all the birds and squirrels all ate them long before they even started to fall from the tree...no. It is as if the animals dont even know about this tree at all. I started cracking some open and mmm.....oh how much i love walnuts oh yes. I am so glad i could actually have some this year, i was so bummed out about all the animals eating ours. There is a man on the property who feeds all the birds and rabbits so i suppose all the animals just eat from him and dont really care about the walnut tree. Yay, walnuts for everyone there then.

I cant wait until the halloween party. Maybe the beer will be ready by then. And i am so very glad that I am not working on Halloween....I would freak out if i had to see all the little kids running from store to store and expecting me to give them candy because they are all hopped up on SUGAR SUGAR SUGAR oh good god i have a shiver just thinking about it. So very glad i'm not going to be passing out candy. I never want to do that.

Happy [late] birthday to Thine RANDAS. As she put it to me once, now no one can call her a teen anymore. She is finally passed all those dumb "teen" numbers. 20 years.

5VI...something something.

Saturday night, September somethingth, 2006

Friday was such an awesome day. Yeah, ok, I had to get up and be to work at 8...but other than that and my eye issue, I got paid. So 11 am rolls around and I am checking the parking lot for Gordon...he's usually not more than five minutes late, and it's usually on account of the coffee shop being busy. Long story short, he came along at noon when we were busy. It was very busy right up until around 1:40. The lights flickered, went out. Came back on. Then went out for good. People still came in, but we pretty much instantly went dead. I went and got the calculator from the office in case we had complicated orders. For the most part though, unfortunately I have all the prices after tax memorized. Writing everything down on paper (what they ordered, price, paid with) and kept the key in the drawer. Fun fun...I honestly was happy at that moment. It made me glad to have been there when it went out, so I could relax for a bit.

We started wondering after 15 minutes or so if it was even going to come back on at all. I figured it better be time to either call the power people or go find someone in this plaza who already has. So Gordon searched for the number and I went in search of news. I came back with this new knowledge: everyone nearby in the plaza is very lazy. Nobody knew anything. Bill lost his cell phone but was going to call once he found it. A few of the regulars worked up in the tax office that I didnt know about, otherwise they would have gotten their discount a long time ago....and last but not least, the guy who works at the taquaria across the way who is always watching me is alot hotter than i had first thought.

Gordon still hadnt called.

After he did call, found out that on the other side of the freeway the power is on and that 1500 people are out of power. There were trucks on their way to the site and it should be on within the hour. I divied up tips and caught a ride with Rolando and made it down with my car to REGISTER MY CAR.

Every single person I talked to who worked there I could tell that their first language was not english. I started being sarcastic with the car inspector guy but he just looked at me ans said "what?" I think he was from Europe. It was all serious, I couldnt even try to be slightly social to the people to lighten their day because every time i tried they didnt understand me. Ugh. Ironically, my licence plate starts with 5 (five for may, the month i was born) VI (the first two letters of my last name).....I dont really remember the rest of my plate. Oops. But now that I have a car running I can do laundry gladly and if I need something I can go to the cheaper place not the one closeby...and I dont have to do it on my way home from work. No more hauling a 70 pound duffel bag down the hill and through the long parking lot full of prissy people who watch you struggle as you walk by and say "gee, that looks mighty heavy." but dont help in any way. (that's doing laundry without a car.) No more only getting a few things at the store because I have to carry it all back up the hill, which usually always gives me a headache if it's more than 15 dollars worth of food.

Ok....I have a major problem now. My car..it stalls now. It runs fine until I go under 20 mph, then it starts to shake and jump and almost stall until i give it more gas. I'm pretty sure it's not the alternator since I've been through that with this same car last winter and it's not acting like that. Yes, there's plenty of gas in the car. I am so confused....It was running just fine until I picked David up...maybe it doesnt like him. But really though....it was a horrible drive home and I was all shaken up after it finally stalled in my driveway. I dont think it is the idle, since it idles low in park, and it only stalls in drive...well actually i havent tried it in neutral...but i started it from neutral earlier and it didnt stall. this really, really sucks. I just spent all the money on the damn thing to get it road legal and it does this. i could cry...i hope it is something easy. something that i can just slap my forehead and laugh and be glad it's over. But until then.....AAAAHHH my car is broken!!!! Help!!!

Happy

Ok, so I might miss my friends...but damn it, i am with someone who makes me happy. Yes, he is a litle crazy...but well, i'm kinda crazy too. I didnt ever think there'd be someone more out of it than me. But he helps me be more sane...or is it insane?? i dont know...i am happy. and i am glad that i am where i am.

my car hopefully soon i can get it registered...friday. YES this friday is THE date. my car will be 100 percent legal which it hasnt been for quite some time.

Did i mention there are black widows around here? AAAAHH!!!

Just dont put your hand somewhere that you havent checked yet.

so uh...skype.com

Free until the end of this year. So use it now while it's still free!!!

I cant wait until spring semester, I get to go to school for almost free!!!!!

Life is pretty good. Yeah i can get sad sometimes but really, it's better than it ever was.

Just wanted to share that burst of light while it still shone. Now the sun is setting and i must go. I will join you again my friends at another time when I have more important things to say.

MY CAR! MY CAR!

We changed the spark plugs....which costedddd very cheap.

Today...I took thy GMARRIE down to the shop and handed the keys over and look look an hour later the owner of the place who is really cool tells me Yer all set...

What???? i think. He's not telling me "ok, well it looks like something failed..." no...MY CAR PASSED THEIR TEST!!! My car is a smart car...very smart arentcha....good car...you just costedddd me 67 bucks. (They charged 12 bucks for a new gascap...which is outrageous but meh...the one on there had no seal. most gas stations around here i've found do not save the gas caps found, stupid morons.

But yay...now online the price comes out to 155 bucks for registering my car, total. Ugh...I only have 84 bucks until next friday. (plus or minus my tips, which feeds me.) But that money goes to other things too, like 300 for rent and then 120 of it for phone and insurance....which leaves us with almost nothing after i go to register my car. Why do people take my money? this sucks.

Anyways....C'est tout! I'm so happy!!

Ginger Marrie

Oh by the way...as for the walnut tree....I went out to it FOUR days later hoping for some ripe walnuts since the last time i took some there were NONE ripe.....and i couldnt see any. I thought...well it's probably just because I only have one contact in and the sun is setting...yeah that's it...but as i circled the tree over and over i realized GOOD GOD, this tree was FULL of walnuts a few days ago and IT'S BARE NOW. Every single one has been taken by some greedy squirrels or big ugly black birds or maybe even some coons???? And as I was feeling so glum, I suddenly saw one. One, all by itself, with the outside starting to blacken. OOO, it's ripe. So I guess i'll never see another walnut out of that tree for another year. Why would animals take walnuts that arent ripe??? grr....unless all the ones that i couldnt get to were...but i climbed pretty high up in there. stupid squirrels......they took all my nuts. :(n her husband's television show and in his 2002 movie.

Vrmm vrmm

That's what I hope to hear soon...like every day when i get in my car. Yeah yeah you guys say...so much about your car.

The other day we decided ok, time to fix the tire today and give your car a health inspection.

After tracking down a tire iron in the back of Debbie's car, we get the rear driver side tire off. David rolls it...and bounces it...

"There's no hole in this. Where is the nail?"

"What?", I say...confused. "Dude...it was a freaking screw, how could it have came out."

"Well, there is no hole in this tire. Look. There is nothing in the tire either. You made me take this tire off all because you are crazy."

It was on the ground next to where the tire was on the car. Apparantly when he spun it around and around to take it off it somehow came off. There was imprints on the tire of where it was....but no puncture......YAYAYAYAYAYAAAAYYYYEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poor him, took the tire off and put it back on for nothing. At least it got his blood pumping and got him dirty. Off we went and brought it back new spark plugs. Too bad it's Labor Day weekend....GRRR.......stupid car shops all closed down because they are taking a day off from labor.....

i guess i cant complain too much, I (coincidentally) got the day off too. Actually I suggested to the manager that we close down shop for the day, seeings how that's what that holiday is all about...but I think most of the people that are going to work that day are going to be people that dont really believe in this holiday...it's the first time i've actually celebrated it for myself.
Woo...yay.Let's make a cake.
Santa Claus does exist!!!

NUTS

oh baby i love nuts....walnuts....i like having a walnut tree except i have to fight off the squirrels....i had to climb the tree today to get to the walnuts before the squirrels did. maybe i should hang out around it for as much as possible....then the squirrels will be afraid of the tree and always think i'm in it and wont come around....as my brother says (about me for some reason...) be like a squirrel girl, be like a squirrel....oh oh oh oh oh. (ok so he sings a song that the white stripes made and thinks i'm a squirrel or something...) weird.

YUM I LOVE NUTS!!!!
Thank god I wasnt born allergic to them. they're too damn good to not have.

THERE IS A NAIL IN MY TIRE

Car facts...

Ok...so this monday I am going to smog my car and maybe if i have time register it. Fun...I expect the price tag on the smog to be around $50 (if it passes i will be blessed...if it doesnt it will be free but i will have to fix something...but a mechanic i talked to today has faith in my car...and so does Gordon...please oh please pass.....)

Registering it will be somewhere around 100 bucks. Looking at all the fees that the online site gave me it estimated all my fees to be exactly 101...but the lady at sos told me "under 150..." We'll see...

My car is clean...i like clean cars they make me happy.

After those are taken care of i will have to get an oil change (if i havent already to pass smog...) and a tune up (again...if i havent already) And new tires...i've gone over this with you all before. it sucks. money money money....ugh.

It's so bad that my car is all i can even think about anymore...i dont know what else to even bitch about on my blog. Well..until i can think of more (or i actually do something to my car)......

Rite Aid once again

Ok...I was standing at the register yesterday...waiting to help the next customers once they were done deciding...and over their shoulders I see the most evil person I know around here...the supervisor from Rite Aid. Now, for those of you who can recall how much hatred I can have within for someone...this woman is the only person that I actually can say I hate that I have seen in a very long time...so you can imagine that all the hatred I have stored for people has all been deflected into this woman. I throw the pen down on the counter and ask my manager to please take over because here she comes. When I come back there is a note written...it's a good thing that she remembers things I mention to her, because I had asked her to write her name down if she ever came in...and she did. Deborah. I have written Rite Aid once again for this psycho lady. I dont think I will get any reply because I didnt get one last time. but this time I had her name. Oh boy do I hate her...her evil black frizzy hair and so much makeup and ugh.....just thinking about her i am making a horrible face, i feel as though i should spit, right in her face.

Ok....now for the brighter side of things.....i talked to Marta today!!! And as usual, we had perfect timing. I love my Marta. She'll be back in college in a week.

Speaking of college, I think that spring semester I am going to be eligable for free school. Yay!!! Time to start planning for classes, even though unfortunately this college is incomparable to LCC...LCC ROCKS!!! THEY had the best goddamn media program around the entire state of Michigan, and I WAS GOING TO IT!!! I was lucky enough to have the best teacher ever in the entire world who knew just how to teach what he was teaching and teach it well didnt you teacher teach teach teach MR. HAGGADONE!!!!!!!!!!!! World's best teacher and influence. Well...best media teacher. i had some excellent english teachers too...

Yeah yeah, shut up i know i failed english alot of times...

but i got a B+ and an A- in french class!!

c'est impossible.....

Also, I got an invitation to my cousin's wedding! Wow, she's the first of all us cousins to get married. Not sure if i'll make it back or not yet...but i would really love to. The cheapest tickets i'm finding are at 270 after tax. Round Trip.

Too bad i dont have any of those frequent flyer miles...............

~$150 for a one way ticket...Heidi...out of Detroit.

My car is happy.

I am happy.

I LOVE MY CAR!!!

About a week ago i applied for my new licence...i got it in the mail yesterday. Today i freaking got insurance on my lovely GMARRIE but it's not registered yet....when i register it they will take my GMARRIE plate away from me :"( which very much sucks...i paid 35 bucks for that plate. i should get to keep it goddamn it and hang it on my wall. THAT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hm.........i am happy...well...except that NO ONE KNOWS what Jessica's number is. Aunt Beckie emailed me it today but it "is no longer in service" as usual...my dumb ole sister always has a disconnected phone by the time it makes it to me...HER SISTER.

Lots of stuff going on

Yesterday was David's birthday...he doesnt want me to mention it though...he's 24. Big deal. We ate really well for his birthday. Steaks, lots and lots of veggies, sitting around a bonfire in the resivoir on that beautiful day. It was fun. And now today is grandpa's birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!!!! he's only 22. ;) And definately acts his age.

Seems like i'm forgeting to say something else about today but i'm not quite sure what that could be...hmm...........

Oh well.

Anyways, i'm doing fine. My potatoes are dying, does that mean it's time to eat them? must be...gonna pull them up today. I got a letter today from grandma Schneider and unfortunately...i cant read any of it. Now...and i kinda feel bad about this...i used to be able to decipher it for everyone else when they couldnt read it but now.....now i cant even read it. There are a few words i recognize but...not many.

I'm making an afgan too i dont know if i told anyone that or not...it's a pretty simple one. it will be very expensive and warm. i've only got a small amount of it done though. i need 70 squares and i've only got 12....gotta get to work!!!

I think that's about it...not as much going on as i thought...it's too bad i cant remember what other occasion today is because i could have sworn something else happened today in the past too...but nothing is more important on this day than grandpa's birthday. Happy birthday grandpa, dont eat too much candy now, remember to smell the roses and sing as loud as you want. We all love you!!

HO LEEEEE SHIT......

OK...the last post mentioned how DAVID cut his dreads off......well, i'm at work about to go home and there is Gordon's face.......but just his face. No dreads. He cut HIS off last night, the day after David did his....and neither one knew that the other had/was planning such a shocking thing. They both saw eachother today...no dreads.....

A new thought...how will I describe them to people now if i lose them?? I used to say "two dread locked hippies" but now.....i have to tell them a more vague thing... "two tall handsome hippies with very short hair..."

Wow...

WHOA

HOLY SHYTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

David just cut his dreads off....YEAH. OFF. Whoa........no really....WHOA. um.....whoa.

Holy Cripe'n Crunch...

I love cereal...

I've been trying to tell Miranda for a couple days but we never get to talk long enough for me to spit anything out so i'm just gonna say it here....i have a geee-tar. Yes, yes, I BOUGHT MYSELF A FENDER. Yeah yeah, Jordan, i hear you in my head...you dont deserve one...and you're probably right. But the fact that it's not that good of one should make up for it...maybe some day i'll play it for you Jordan...the day after you TAKE ME TO OZZFEST!!!!!

Sorry...got carried away...anyways, what i really wanted to say is...i love the sun. it keeps me warm and happy. I like to play frisbee in the sun. no one would ever play with me, at least not for very long. i like it when people will play until Ginger wears out, because most people wear out quick playing frisbee...but not me. I just get better until i cant run and dive anymore without tripping myself...that's when i need a break...when i crash into a big wall of sand...we had loads of fun today. Oh boy. And my legs hurt from our small hike...dumb us we should have gotten out the compass before we attempted to cross the freeway...at least we were sure footed...except when i let you fall in the river......sorry about that...

Fun day, wish i could do it tomorrow on my second day off in a row!! at most i'll go to the beach and find some cute guy to play frisbee with. neh...i'll just work on my sunburn....yay...

Today's Story, as told by me

I woke up this morning around 8:43. I remembered that *she* was working. Before I continue, there is something you mus know about her...

*She* is trying to get fired so she can get unemployment. However she is a bad employee and won't end up getting it. Right now she is only on once a week because she is really rude to customers and employees. Back to today...

I rolled out of bed and found a bowl...no cereal. Grrr...ok, I'm going to work early since I dont think *She* will show up at 10 like she's supposed to, and me at 11.

I make it to the plaza. I see Nancy, she tells me she has my hoodie and she'll send it my way. That made me happy but i'm still hungry...I decide to walk in the back and if *her* car isn't there, i have to go in......her car's not there. My manager was hoping i'd be psychic today and show up knowing that *she* wouldnt be there.

Work work work...starving...super busy...work work....time to go play with money for an hour yay...time to leave. Wait, I have to go get a money order so i can pay my bill...go next door to Rite Aid and a smiling man says over the intercom for me "Supervisor to Western Union please."

Now...maybe i'm wrong, but isnt Rite Aid supposed to BE a "western union" station? The answer? YES. Now i've had trouble before cashing a western union money order, but they said they did everything except cashing them, last time...

Supervisor walks up, looking like she thinks she owns the place, with her dark thick makeup and her long evil black hair fried to a crisp...She stands directly face to face with me (ok so i'm short, but still...she got in my face instead of behind the counter) and pointed at the computer. "Our machine isn't working right now. We can't do western unions."

"So you can't do money orders right now??"

"We dont do money orders. Our machine is down."

"Ok, so you cant do anything western union right now."

"No. We don't do money orders. Western Union IS WIRING MONEY."

"If you don't do money orders and you can't cash them, why do you advertise "western union" even if it were working?"

"Because Western Union is *pause* wyyyering *pause* monnney."

I could have chocked the bitch. I left angrily and came home. (on my way home i found a ripe blackberry and ate it, which made me stop frowning, but i was still upset a few minutes later...) I have since emailed customer service about the incident.

And now, the computer's not working right...today sucked. That is my day.

Adventures

Check this out...I wish i could have bathed under it...I would have except it was a tiny beach surrounded in very high cliffs, and it is a huge fine to get caught down there since they rescue so many people from there. If it wasnt part of a big park where people were coming just to see the waterfall...i would have played in it. Trust me, some day i will bathe in it...

Fourth of July...

VERY VERY VERY CRAZY.....DEFINATELY THE CRAZIEST FOURTH OF JULY I HAVE EVER HAD. Tons of fireworks, bombs going off almost hitting me and oh boy the freaks were out... loads of fun. Cant wait for another such holiday to come where people just feel the need to go crazy...

As for the Heidi....will someone tell her to call? We really miss her and dont know how to get ahold of her...and we need to know where to send the next Amtrak ticket.......WE LOVE YOU HEIDI.

Also, someone, anyone, go find Robbe and give him hugs and kisses for us. We love you and hope you are becoming Superman, Robbe. Nothin' can defeat titanium. Give it time and you will be undestructable.

I love me,

Cha Cha, and the beat goes on

(sorry allison...)

This game is the greatest game online. I do suggest trying it out, it is alot more fun than you may first suspect. The best one is Yeti Sports 5....

i'm obsessed......

thank you.

I figured out what our plant is called, it's a type of agavé from mexico. it cant handle the frost, sorry you guys i cant send you one. they are a really cool plant though. it's amazing how fast they grow. When we first picked ours it had around five leaves, now (a couple months later) it has filled up it's huge pot and it has thirteen leaves. wow!!!

also, the other day i went for a walk and came back with one large aloe plant. Now, mind you, the aloes around here are very different from the ones i remember at home. As a matter of fact, i cant even remember what the ones at home look like, i've seen so many different kinds!! There were so many of them that i only grabbed one but went back with a pickle bucket (thank you deli) and put two more in it. That's right...a five gallon bucket could barely contain two of these aloes. I think i broke a few of their leaves just easing them into the bucket. And you wont belive this...on my way back with the bucket i also found a free gardening tool in the park. a limb cutter thinggy... i did fantastic for just going for a walk!!

Well, that's all for now...until next time

Please keep me from the Gallows Pole

Hangman, hangman, hold it a little while,
Think I see my friends coming, Riding a many mile.
Friends, did you get some silver?
Did you get a little gold?
What did you bring me, my dear friends, To keep me from the Gallows Pole?
What did you bring me to keep me from the Gallows Pole?

I couldn't get no silver, I couldn't get no gold,
You know that we're too damn poor to keep you from the Gallows Pole.
Hangman, hangman, hold it a little while,
I think I see my brother coming, riding a many mile.
Brother, did you get me some silver?
Did you get a little gold?
What did you bring me, my brother, to keep me from the Gallows Pole?

Brother, I brought you some silver,
I brought a little gold, I brought a little of everything
To keep you from the Gallows Pole.
Yes, I brought you to keep you from the Gallows Pole.

Hangman, hangman, turn your head awhile,
I think I see my sister coming, riding a many mile, mile, mile.
Sister, I implore you, take him by the hand,
Take him to some shady bower, save me from the wrath of this man,
Please take him, save me from the wrath of this man, man.

Hangman, hangman, upon your face a smile,
Pray tell me that I'm free to ride,
Ride for many mile, mile, mile.

Oh, yes, you got a fine sister, She warmed my blood from cold,
Brought my blood to boiling hot To keep you from the Gallows Pole,
Your brother brought me silver, Your sister warmed my soul,
But now I laugh and pull so hard And see you swinging on the Gallows Pole

Swingin' on the gallows pole!

DOGNUTS IN THE SKY, WITH A SIX STRING

It's very important that we acknowledge who we have in our lives before it is too late and they are gone. Tell them we love them, make them know we care. Don't have a bad day, because if you are angry sometimes, that is so much time out of your life that you are not happy. Be happy. It will make other people be happy, it can make the world work. Everything you have today could be gone tomorrow, so make sure you treat those around you well and LIVE. One year ago today the life of the party died. The heart and soul of a spider's web was torn to shreds. The love of everyone's life suddenly was gone. Live while you can, because life goes faster than you think.

We will all meet up again in the Garden, don't worry my friends

3 BUCKS A GALLON?!?!?!

Yeah....i bet my mother is riding her bicycle. Hell, I bet she's got Jerry riding his bicycle. My car hasn't had more than a quarter tank in it in months...my poor car. I need a new car. This one is almost dead. Literally...it really is you guys. With 189,4something miles on it...the blower moter was almost dead when i GOT the car but it died in like october, the tires are....WAY WAY WAY WAY TOO THIN...the wires are showing on every tire. Not good. The driver's door window quit working in like november and was duck taped shut back in october...it falls in the door. we had to fix the muffler onto the car because it rusted off...which cost us i think like 50 bucks, we replaced the alternator with a fixed one for 108 bucks...that car's been to hell and back. it's grown a life....and yes, there has to be something growing in the floorboards since the floor leaks water in that can't escape...so when it rains there will be standing water in my car...gross.and there's no music in the car or clock which i have been fine without for all this time, but the fact that i dont have a clock to know whta the hell time it is is bad, especially if i think i might be late for work. But i guess not knowing the time helps me get there faster.

Anyways, that's just something i thought i'd share with all of you. isn't it great? Will anyone oh please someone let me know what is up with my DARLING sister??

communication breakdown

oh and by the way, Aunt Pam?? Victor Wooten is a bluegrass man...kinda...

walk a while with me

so long for now

Also...as for the music...

As long as it is a full album, the answer is YES, i would like it. If you can send me it to my gmail it would be GREAT. This is a list of bands that i am in need of albums from....and like i said, bear with me. Ben Harper

My first ticket

As many of you probably do not know, i thought i'd tell you...
I got a ticket one day for stopping in a "keep clear" zone. 165 dollars please...I plead "not guilty" and wanted to bring it to court. What the hell is a keep clear zone!! I know now, and you are all lucky for not ever having to see one...but on the off chance that ONE DAY you finally see one, KEEP CLEAR. If your tires are two inches on the line, you are in the zone. Stay AWAY!!
Anyways, back to the ticket. March 22, is the date they set, and i could have changed it to see if the cop didnt show up...but i didnt. So March 22, i go into court dressed somewhat formal, and wait.... i had to show up at 1pm, i got there at 12:30 just so i could be sure where to go. There are three lists...one for child support...one for something else, and one that had my name on it. It had my name and the cop's name, and it was near the very bottom.
Hours later...it's a little past four and she still hasnt gotten to me. The courtroom has cleared out, there are only two cops left and three people. I was second to last!!
I go up, the cop tells the story, the weather...blah blah blah..."i see a car in the number one lane turn into the number two lane, go around a car, and back into the number one lane...i do a u turn and signal...blah blah blah.." WHAT!! i did no such thing. I am not an asshole driver. I was in the left lane the entire time and forgot that right there it turns into a left turn only lane, so i turned my blinker on and tried to merge...but cars were flying up to the red light so i ended up in the keep clear zone. That's what happened, and I told her i didnt know there was one there. They dont have those where i'm from...
She gave me a reduced fine. She took 85 bucks off so now all i have to pay is 80 dollars by april 20.
Wasn't that worth all the fuss??

Pepperoni Flavored Slim Jims

Dearest whoever reads this...

The other day I was in line paying for gas when I see a selection of slim jims, and I remember my brother. Yes, I thought of my brother. I laughed for five minutes. (no need to explain, those who will remember will laugh and those who are wondering can ask Neil, I think he wrote about it in his blog a while ago) So...the Nazi ora I could smell.

Graduation...early May? The MSU website told me little, but if i deciphered correctly it told me 9 am May 6? Breslin Center? I wish i could drive my car back across...but it needs alot of work. I cant drive it much longer out here, sooner or later i'll get pulled over and i'll be screwed. I'll get a thousand dollar fine for driving a non-smogged car and living out here without changing my license and my id. money i dont have...

I really would like to though, I know if the car made it back to michigan it would likely die a better death there. Everyone looks down their nose at it here, nobody would want it. It's still a good car in Michigan.

What's the word on the Jessica K? Aie?

How is grandpa and his knee doing?

How is the weather?

How is my Miranda? If anyone sees her after reading this, make sure to give her a TREMENDOUS hug. She needs it.

How are my kitties?????? When you see them next, please be sure to give them way way way too much attention, and lots of smothering with kisses and more petting...

Time to go..

Ginger Marrie

ps. the email worked aunt Pam, you got me to update my blog!
