Easter/Bunny

Today is Easter. Here is my bunny. :D

Gee, you can tell i'm bored, huh?

Assorted pictures

Cleaning out my phone and I forgot about a few that I wanted to show others. Here they are.

Meat Pizza from downtown Glendale. It was cooked over pecan wood, and such large chunks of meat....making it oh so good.

This car...the guy driving it looks like Alan Jackson...no joke. Will post picture of him later.

Beautiful picture...too bad it wasn't taken with a real camera. Gorgeous.

That's all for now...

Good news on a good day

Woke up at 3:30. Couldn't sleep. David woke up at 3:40. Couldn't sleep. Talked enough to be tired. We fell back asleep. Finally I give up on waking up with the alarm clock so I shut it off. Wake up when i'm ready. Go. Stress the whole way to destination. Flat tire. Jerks at discount tire won't patch it. Finally reach destination, 9:40. Enter in through doors... cops. Metal detectors. Up the stairs. Lobby full of people. Should I take a number? "Number 82?" the lady calls. I think I'll take a number. "Number 82?" I pull the number. Number 82. Oh- hey- that's me!

Go down the hall, sign in...list is full of names. I hope this doesn't take hours... just when I send David out to the car to go get something important I forgot, he leaves the room and the judge walks in. All rise, be seated... Calls name, ok, bam bam dismissed. Ginger?? Oh crap, that's me already! David's not back yet... crap... yes I was lawful yes yes... no i do not have my registration, david's coming with it right now... be seated and bring it to me when I call you again......two more people are called. David comes in. Judge eyeballs David suspiciously. Calls my name. Forms, forms, forms... yes yes...waived, waived, down to minimum charge of $124 for az resident with out of state licence. rest are all waived..... thank you your honor......5 weeks to pay it.....making it $144. Thank you!! Instead of owing 1300 i owe 144. Yay hooray.

Had a lazy day at work, pretty easy...drove home on the highway for the first time in my Lincoln, it was GREAT. No flooring it, hoping the transmission eventually kicks into third gear while the rpms are up around 3500 and the car sounds horrible--BAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAHBR- BRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! No yelling across the car to hear the passenger who is a foot away. I could hear the music - there was music! I could hear David! No horrible, feel like you're going to die because i'm on the highway in a car that is shaking and is very loud and there's wind coming up somewhere by my feet... none of that... No. I have a lincoln. Dont even think of getting in front of me, my car could eat yours whole if it wanted to and you know it. Your car would be totalled and mine would have a scratch on the bumper. Solid. 1986. I'm not a classic. So don't call my car a classic. Yeah, we're the same age and we both have our issues, but we're almost indestructable. Superwonderful.

Oh, and I saw a carbon copy of my car today for sale. How much? $1500. Hah! I paid 250! Same wonderful car. That made me real happy.

Have a good day. I'll try. My wrists are really killing me. I've been wearing braces on them as much as i can at work and always when i sleep now, but they still hurt. That's why I haven't typed this much recently. I need insurance.

And I do appreciate you being round.......

Help me get my feet back off the ground...

I like having a radio in my car. I forgot what it was like to have one.

So once again I have driven David to that church this morning so he can paint. It is a long drive, especially when i'm pulling a new muscle in my leg every time i drive that car just because of the tall people that it was made for i guess. Also the fact that i have to grip the wheel tight at all times because it doesn't have power steering to the right... only to the left. So it's hard to keep it going straight, since no car is aligned perfect and whatnot, so just barely correct a touch to the left and correct hard to the right. I'm used to it now, don't worry we are replacing it soon.

Well, if i'm not mistaken I believe that the post office right around the corner is open unusual hours, but unlike the rest in the world that's a good thing because they are open alot more often than just 9-5 like most. So... I need to go get some stamps, send gma a letter and then hi-ho it's off to work i go (sorry, ma's voice appeared in my head, couldnt stop it from coming out).

What to do...

Will someone please give me a good idea as to what to do with all my rocks from the Cavalier's back window? The best idea i've had is to put them in the bathroom. I can't put them in my new car because that car has never been to those places...

David took work off for today and tomorrow and probably Wednesday also. He is helping this guy from Detroit we met paint a church for $12 an hour which means we'll hopefully be ok soon.

That's all for today.

More plates

Someday, maybe when i'm 24... i'll have a garage full of licence plates and can tell a story about each one, and how long it was on each car that I had before I had to switch to another state. Hm... I have two Cali plates and one Michigan plate that says GMARRIE :D and NOW i have an AZ plate. I guess the only way I would get one from Florida is if I was given it...

And of course, in related news, I no longer have my Cavalier. Sold for $300. I'm a little sad about it yet.

Not that anyone would know about this, but see what appears to be a wine spill under the wine glass to the left???

It's not really wine, folks. It was a clear candle from Jeff & Mellissa's wedding in that glass, and one hot humid Michigan day it melted into the back ledge... I cleaned it as best I could, but when it dried it looked like liquid sitting there on top of the fabric, spilling out of the glass. I used to have a knife up there too... we thought it wouldn't be a good idea for it to be there if we got pulled over... also, at one point in time, when we were travveling around MI we had rocks from lake MI on the driver's side and rocks from lake Huron on the passenger side. They mingled and then assorted random things from Cali got added in and now I have a bag full of rocks that I cannot part with...and a little martini glass with sanddollars from cali in it...

Oh and just for the heck of it, here's a pic from a long time ago in Kentucky. Cheers to Uncle Steve!!
