Ok... aside from all the crazy flooding around here.... today was pretty good compared to any other day lately.
I had court. For my cracked windshield. I had to sit through an hour or more of people and their disputing of tickets - most all of them were for speeding or for not making a complete stop. Actually... all of them were those two.
I sat and sat, listening to everyone's sad attempts to argue with the cop while in front of a judge. Watching all the people disrespectfully dressed... and just wondering... what the hell were they thinking coming into court like that? And the way they are interrupting the judge? People are so stupid!!!
Needless to say, everyone before me had to pay their fines, they were all found responsible. I was getting nervous, thinking I would have a hard time justmaking a simple statement of "i don't feel it is fair to pay for both fine and repair..."
Oh, and btw... my officer's name was Officer MANLY. if that wasn't bad enough.
It was my turn. She asked our names - officer and I - and then told me that normally with these cases, she just asks for proof that it was fixed. If it is fixed, I have $0 fine. I was in such shock of her saying that - that I muttered a confused response - explaining why i was there - "well the front desk person said i had to pay the..." she interrupted me with "a yes or no will do."
YES YOUR HONOR!
Ok then! Sign out with the clerk.
YAY! So I ran home all excited! Changed out of my court clothes - I was dressed appropriately compared to all idiots, excluding one man.... technically there were two but I don't count the other guy because his dress shirt was really wrinkled....
Changed and went to work. [yay, work... bleh.] I was in such a good mood that I lasted the whole day with answering the phone (not every call, thankfully..) and not letting any of it get to me... until the very end of the day. Enjoyed my day at work, took care of lots of random little things, and came home! Oh, and it was payday too, which makes the day even better!
The end of good day! Hopefully tomorrow is close to as good of a day, to end my work week well.
-They lived happily ever after!-

Compass Scan and Car
Once again... It's been a while, I know.
It seems like we've been working on the car almost frequently lately. Not such a good thing. First we had to keep jumping my car until one day, it would not let us jump it. I was at work with Susan (and her lovely 2008 Challenger...red...with a little drool from me on it...) trying to jump my car. The men came to the rescue with a brand new battery, and we drove home. Then things strted acting funny, we thought maybe there was a bad ground, as when the concrete was wet, we lost charge. We thought we fixed it by fixing what seemed to be a terrible wiring rig under the hood, i did not have to unhook my new battery every time i was driving anymore. I started slow, daring to only leave it connected at places i knew I had a jump at. It survived a week, and so i figured it had to be fine now.
We fixed the radio, yay, cd player!! took a long time for us to do, but i'm glad it's done. then one day..... my car didn't want to start again. this time i knew it wasn't the battery, although i did kill it in the process of trying to turn it over.
Long story short... the starter is held on by two bolts. Guess what......one bold was almost completely out, the other was half way. The starter was just hanging there, all floppy and ready to fall off - not to mention, not level. We altered the position of it, but by that time the battery was too dead and we had to jump it anyways. We tightened the bolts, and now it goes 'vrrrrrmm!' with maybe two cranks. before it went on and on like the battery was dead "ra ruh ra ruh ra ruh raaa ruuuhh ra ? ruh? VRRRRMM!" i was so used to it we never thought about a problem.
So needless to say, I will eventually need a new starter since the guts to mine are probably well warped from trying to turn in the condition it was in. Also... it rained today. I had to jump my car again, both going and leaving to/from work. So I disconnected the battery tonight... hopefully that fixes it for now, meaning we still have a bad ground somewhere.
Something interesting happened recently. We had a free "compass scan". Now most of you reading might say "what's that ginger?" Well, if I understood correctly, and I might not have, it was kinda weird.. it works off of the magnetic signature that your body provides. You place your hand on this thing that reads your magnetic signature, and goes for about 5 minutes, and it tells you what your body most needs for better health. Such items could include mineral deficiencies, vitamin deficiencies, or it showing things you need to fix your system.... David's first item we saw and laughed. It said he needs 5HTP very bad! That's so true, because of his sleep problems! He hasn't been taking it lately because it's costly.
His said many things. Mine was very repetitive..... It said I needed stuff that is muscle relief as well as anti-inflammatory, and also i needed lavender and other things for the anti-stress remedies. There were I think 8 items listed for what you needed.... and all of mine related to anti-inflammatory, pain, and de-stressing.
Isn't that interesting? I thought so. I need to have valium prescribed with my job.
That's all for now!

Religion in the workplace
That's right... I'm talking about it. I want opinions!!!
A receptionist at work plays a christian radio station all day every day. All customers and visitors are subject to it. Several employees, including myself, are very annoyed by it. We change it to classic rock, which is the most widely accepted as far as we know to listen to, and it always gets changed back.
We downright find it offensive.
Religion should not be in the workplace. We should not have to be preached at from the radio and have to hear it. Or listen to the music.
I've tried looking into the legality of it, but in the end the internet only goes so far for legal questions. I think I need to call a lawyer who would have an answer, I don't have a legal library to my advantage. I just want to know if it should not be acceptable. We can't mention it to the boss until we know if it's inappropriate or not due to the fact that she is ALSO a super christian, and sometimes plays internet radio christian music in her own office.... LOUDLY.
Until then... suffering little gingavitis hides in her cubical. Sometimes the din of the office is loud enough to cover the radio... sometimes not.

Johnny, Moved, Leg, Random
RIP Johnny Genge, we will miss your crazy self and your wild blonde fro and all your brilliance, as well as punk attitude on life.
We are all moved now, into our new place. Aside from our battle with ants, which we have won before so we are experienced in war games, we like the place. It is good, and we happened upon a dead agave the other day, and therefore we have a bunch of babies we are starting all around the place.
So I know not a lot of folks read this, but more brains than my one is good enough to mention this. There goes my sentence, not making sense to the normal folk. Just keep reading people... My leg has done this all throughout my life. I never bothered trying to explain it since I know some people have similar stuff happen to them. My leg occasionally locks. No, not my knee. From searching online about knee locking, i have found that 'knee locking' is nothing like what happens to me.
It has happened with me in different positions, nothing special about any of them. Sitting in a chair, sitting on the floor, squatting down for a moment, or such as last night, while i was sleeping.
I was tossing around, my legs bent up, past 90 degrees, that is a distinct issue with it, the knee is bent past 90 degrees... i went to bend my legs back out and roll over and all of a sudden one leg locked and i couldn't move and i woke up yelling in pain. it seems that it's almost the tendons catching on a muscle or something, it hurts real bad and i cannot open my leg back out without force. i have in the past, if i am able, sat there for a very long time with my leg bent all the way closed* if you can call it closed* and it eventually let me open it again without pain. i just had to relax for a real long time. i even once had to have someone rip it open because i needed to get up, it hurt very badly but was needed.
afterwards, i cannot bend this knee past about 70 degrees or so without it hurting, i often limp on it, and if it gets bent much farther than that it will lock again. i have to not bend my knee for at least a week for it to even think about not locking again for a while.
for the first time with this ever happening to me, i have splinted it today. i thought i could stretch it back once just to relieve the stiffness, but it locked again. so now i walk around with what seems to be a peg leg.
anyways, my point being that if anyone has any idea what this is, please let me know. it is not my knee, it is the underside of my knee, and it is either the muscles or the tendons or both.
anyways... i got a ticket for my windshield the other day. i don't have glass coverage so it is gonna cost an awful lot of money that i don't have to fix it. life sucks.
that's all i can stand to talk about today. my leg hurts. blah. don't think i don't see you... SIT UP! STOP SLOUCHING!!!

Car Trouble and Zippo
Last week, we both showed up to work. My boss came in as we were in the lobby talking to a co-worker. She came in with an extra dog on a leash. It was another yorkie. (She also has a yorkie.)
They played, they got along just fine. He is bigger than her, actually twice her weight (she's 5lb, he's 10lb).
So I fell in love with him. We have wanted a yorkie or a schnauzer for a while. So of course I took him home for the first night. He's potty trained, already neutered, oh so cute...he slept in bed with us and waited patiently for me to take him out to potty in the morning. We're not allowed a dog unless we pay the fee for him, which what's the point--we're only here two more months. We can't get caught with him because we could get kicked out. So he stays at the shelter at night for now. But I love him, he loves me, he is so sad when I leave. His name is Zippo...
The Lincoln.
That same night, that I took him home, the car made a bad noise... mind you, I drive a luxury car, you cannot hear the engine AT ALL unless you floor it or you get out. I could suddenly hear it very loud, and it sounded like a diesel. Very scary.
David told me to put oil in it, because that's what he was sure it was making that noise for.
After putting oil in, it still made the noise a little on the way to work, and also it smoked when I stopped. I thought it might just be burnt oil from me spilling a little. But I was still terrified to drive home.
Of course, on the way home - with pregnant chick and Zippo both in the car-- it died. Thankfully after I stopped. Towed, then later discovered that it was only the water pump - we thought it was a dead engine... so we got it home, two hour drive for stopping every three minutes to fill it with water on a normal 30 min. drive... so now I'm waiting for the payday to roll around to fix the car... it really sucks. I'm so sad. I'm so glad that my car's not dead though.
Anyways, that's all for now. If you feel like donating.... I'd love you forever. Email me. :D

Birthday Fun PLUS
I have been meaning to update. My life is oh so busy anymore, that I hardly have time to breathe. So anyways, I guess I will tell stories.
For my birthday, we went to the zoo. It was really awesome.
The ostriches were pissy with David,

there was a gila monster dancing on the glass for people,

meerkats lounging around,

more animals pissed at david...sable antelope...this one was charging at him even though he did nothing... many thought it was going to scale the 'fence'...

david petting the deer...

PENGUINS!!

an albino crocidile...

oh. and i forgot to mention.......... you can feed and PET the stingrays.

That's right. STINGRAYS. they have had their barbs removed. You stick your hand down in the pool and they suck the shrimp up like a vaccum. They have no teeth. It was really scary. I did it. They were soft and happy for attention. It was real weird.
And that was my trip to the zoo. The reason why I'm not in any of these is because well it's my camera and I'm the camera man with it. Just because I'm not in the pictures doesn't mean I didn't have fun.
Right now we are hiring for a vet tech at my work. The lady was fired. She was very bad. Didn't follow directions.
So since I'm the executive assistant, I get to review resumes before the boss even has to deal with looking at them. Oh boy, what a bunch of ridiculous stuff this is. I have probably received 200 and only 15 are good. So far only half have shown up to their interview.
Hm... what else. Can't think of anything special to report. Hm... ah well, if I remember I'll try to post it. If I can catch up with time, anyways.

Please no more drama!

Just a random picture of Waffles... I haven't seen her in a while. So my boss was fired, not happy about it. So much more stress in the job, and much more work to do.
I just got over being sick. I had a harsh cough for three days. Now I think I've gotten David sick.
Ok, so I thought I had alot to say. I must not. I guess I just wanted an update.

The Ridiculous-ness of December
Well. I thought every thing was leveled out, and just neutral in the beginning of December. On our way home late one night, we were pulled over. Hm... I wonder why I am getting pulled over...
I was on an onramp, so he spooked us by appearing on the passenger side. After providing all my papers, he said "You were acting suspicious, driving slow like you didn't want to pass me. Then I ran your plate."
"Uh... to be honest officer, I didn't even know you were there. My spedometer doesn't work, so I have to assume everyone is speeding." To which he said "ah, I've had one of those cars."
His reason after running my plate? It came back as suspended registration for no insurance.
He spent 20 minutes in his car on the phone with my insurance, with them telling him I did have insurance. Unfortunately, he had to take the plate because he had already ran it and he can't just say "oh yeah boss, i never pulled them over. just ran their plate." He did give me permission to drive my car still, and that to keep all of the stuff with the car so if I were to get pulled over again, "you can tell him you've already been cited for this."
SO...I go to the DMV/SOS/MVD the following morning. It shows a ticket that my friend got in June for no proof of insurance because he was unable to find the proof in the car (it WAS in the damn car!)....they told me to take it up with those cops and they couldn't give me my plate back until that was cleared.
Call them. The cop lady is confused. I give them all the proof they need saying that the vehicle was insured. No longer my problem, not my ticket. The cop is confused that it would be suspended, as the penalty is normally a three month suspension, and it had been six months. She then told me to call *this* number and get my plate registered.
I call.
I'm on hold.
He asks for my plate number.
I say uh... a cop took my plate.
Vin. DOB... verify...
Uh, m'am, could you repeat what this is in regards to?
My car is suspended.
Um, what was your vin again? Are you sure it wasn't your licence?
Uh, yah! The cop took my plate.
Hm... because m'am, your car is not suspended.
WHAT?
It was suspended in 07/07 for no insurance.
I didn't own the vehicle until 02/08!
Hm... well m'am, your car is not suspended.
So I can come get a plate?
Yes m'am.
So off I went. They tried to charge me five dollars for a plate, I said no way. Then I went to the court to get the ticket dismissed, and they said "we have to have prooooof that the car wasn't suspended before we can get rid of this." I said (without the cuss words) wtf b****!!!!!! isn't this enough proof that it was never suspended? this is my new registration!!!
Apparantly it was not, so I had to run around again back and get a letter from them and then back to the court and shove it in their faces.
Whew. That's hopefully the last time I have to tell that story.

Welcome my son...wel-come...to...
So life sucks. Of course. But every day things?
Ok I suppose. I have a lot of stuff I have accomplished at work in the last couple weeks. I am really happy I have done so much. Hm... what else... oh yeah... GAS IS SUPER CHEAP!!!!

I gasped when I saw that!! About a week before that I said to D--"You won't believe what I paid for gas today..." I had paid 2.10! Now---about five or so years after my ma was quoted saying "I will not drive anywhere if gas goes over $2!!" She swore she would ride her bike everywhere, even in the winter. Do you remember ma? I remember. Why, just a few weeks ago I heard you had been putting a quarter--yes, folks, 25 CENTS--in for gas. Ma, you're so cute. Well, now you can officially drive again.... not that anyone else remembers you saying you wouldn't drive or anything.....
Anywho... new stories, new adventures, new news... new people who hate me... nothing new of course. Oh, and my brother is leaving the states for an unknown amount of time.

Well, now you can officially drive again.... not that anyone else remembers you saying you wouldn't drive or anything.....
Anywho... new stories, new adventures, new news... new people who hate me... nothing new of course. Oh, and my brother is leaving the states for an unknown amount of time.

What a mess life is
Piles of things everywhere. Piles of paperwork. Piles of dishes. Piles of laundry. Why aren't there piles of money? Life seems to always get worse when you finally think it is going to be tolerable. Forever on the decline... and I hate it. Hey! At least I've got my pretty car!!! That I killed the alternator in the other day... and had to go get a new one...all because I am an idiot...so I had to buy a new alternator with money that I don't have...
Which this reminds me...while I've still got one happy thought, which has to do with my car of course, is that the other day I was at the gas station. I was in reverse getting out of a parking spot. Oh by the way...I have a really long/big car...I had to pull out far. This idiot two down backs out after he sees me backing out and doesn't back up far enough to be out of my way and starts heading towards me. Then he has to stop cuz he realized hey-I'm long...so I stopped. Then I hit the gas hard. What happened? Something I'd never done before! I squealed the tires! Yay me! Well...I guess I have done it before in Cali...but I vaguely remember each incident and believe they were a matter of urgency...and I was never able to replicate it in the cavalier again...stupid slow moving cavalier...AHAHAHAHAAAAAA! My car goes fast when you tell it!! HAHHH!! When I pull up next to a cavalier, I align their fronts, and when I look over I can see the end of the car ends at the beginning of my back seats... hahahaa!!!
Ok I'm done. Back to being depressed...about things that shouldn't happen to me but they do...all the time...goodbye blue sky.

Alls I want fer xmas iz...
That's right. You heard me.
I walked into the store just the other day. I barely make it into the produce when errrrrr!!!! I back up. David is far ahead and has to come back. I am standing there with my jaw dropped. I am in disbelief. He grabs what caught my eye, throws it in the cart and says "come on..."
The rest of the store trip I would get a silly grin on my face when I remembered the gold in the cart. Mmm.....
We get out to the car. We dig around the bags. I'm jumping up and down.
We shake it.
We open it.
*Smack...smack...*
"That's not that great at all." David says.
"It's better than nothing though." I say.
We couldn't find any in Cali. Nobody knew what it was. They thought we meant juice.

So if you can't all get together and pool in enough money for us to come home and visit for Christmas, I at least expect SOMEONE to pleeeeeeeease please please send some real cider my way. I know it's just that time down at the mill. I'd like to be there, walking through the pumpkin patches with Aunt Beckie and enjoying the cider and smell of pumpkin pie (now a days grandma, I would eat pumpkin pie).

AZ STATE FAIR
So a local news station gave away free tickets to the fair for non-profit organizations. I work at one. They were only valid for one day. So I of course asked some family if they wanted to go so I could order. They said yes, I ordered, they forgot and couldn't go. So I freaked out, wanted someone to go, found someone to go. I met D down there and by then he was so exausted he was ready to go home. I unfortunately was too afraid to park too far in the ghetto, so I paid for parking. Dumb me. I know.
Anyways...you have to pay for tickets to ride rides. I wasn't interested. Maybe I would have wanted to go on the ferris wheel but not at night, I would have wanted to go up during the day.
Before much else, we went to see the figure 8 in the grand stands........... which by the way... YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY TO GET INTO THE GRAND STANDS!!!!
I was really confused by this.
But yeah. We were like an hour late so we missed most of the show. They did their 8 a few times. The orange car drifted really nice. One guy lost a wheel (almost, it was somehow still there but he couldn't really turn). Once that was over, we went to see the animals.
David said there were...
No lions, no tigers, but BEARS!!
Cool, huh? It gets better. That's right. Ya know, there's your typical cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, some weird funny looking breeds of chickens (i was too afraid to use camera yet for that...) and of course, turkeys. After about the third time telling a turkey that it looked like a great dinner; I realized that the people who were their caretakers were probably around and were probably PETA freaks...so I also saw this really funny looking goose/turkey thing.... once again, too shy to take photos.
The girls had rode on an elephant, which we saw. Cool stuff. We kept searching for the "petting zoo" which was on the map, but this fair is completely un-navigable. The buildings say they are building ___ whatever, but we found out that is not the same with what building each map says it is. There was a 4-H building, which for some reason wasn't that cool. There was ba floriculture (sp) building. We ran into some of my co-workers. We ran into an x-coworker lying cheating stealing b****.....
We found the building FINALLY.
It was really cool!
There were BISON!

There were things that I can't remember the names of!! (Jack rabbit mixed with something else...it is a large rodent)

Another cool thing from Africa that I also can't remember the name of!!!

An OSTERICH that was pretty p.o.ed at david when he touched it. Sitting this thing was almost at eye level with me. I was afraid.

Oh. I guess I didn't get to take a picture of these things. But they are some weird large bird that have fuzzy heads and black feathers that felt kinda scratchy. They were also pretty tall, about as tall as me when they were walking around. There was something cute next to it, I think it was a momma pot bellied pig with her piglets. David was petting whatever it was next to these bird things. Their cage had an opening half way up, but the pigs or whatever didn't, and one of the birds leaned over the top of the cage (which was like 3.5' tall) and started moving it's head right to the top of david's head like it was going to peck him! I called his name and he looked up and backed up. That would have been a good picture if I wasn't so freaked out at that moment. Them face to face. It was creepy though!!
Oh, and the pot bellied pig didn't do much of anything until I think it's owner came along and started grunting at it. It sat up, grunted back, they grunted back and forth until the pig was so excited he had to pet it and walk away. Then the mom stepped back and threw herself down. I don't think she cared that she almost killed one of her babies.
They also had ZEBRA!!

AND A CAMEL!!! (This one was just a baby, there was another one that was humongous but I didn't take a picture.) This camel was oh so soft! I didn't think it would be.

THEY HAD A GIRAFFE!

AND OF COURSE, THE BEST OF ALL, SOMETHING THAT I WAS SO FREAKING EXCITED TO SEE WHEN I SAW IT, I'D NEVER SEEN ONE BEFORE. SO VERY COOL!!!
He was laying there for a long time and then, as most typical males do when they get up, he scratched his back, ate, crapped, and scratched his b****! That was so funny!
Isn't he super cool??????? I want to see one in the wild so I can see it run and jump. This one walked around and had a really rat like looking tail.
Oh I'm sorry, you're still wondering what it is?
Only the most random thing to have at a fair!!!
This fair definately had the best animal selection of any fair I've ever been to. Although it was sad they only had three bunnies.
Oh, yeah. IT IS A KANGAROO!!!!!!

Oh, and also, on a sad note.......apparantly nobody knows what an elephant ear is around here. There were weird things I've never heard of before like "indian bread"(something like that) and "funnel cakes".... but no elephant ears. Sigh. Now I have to make a not so perfect one at home.

That one song......
Ok. So I know most of you readers are either randomly stumbling upon my blog at about 1:30 in the morning in a click-haze---or else you know me and are mad at me for not updating more often. The truth is, once I write something, it becomes more real, and not everything I want to be real.
There's that one thing...that i won't mention...that you all know happened, that I refuse to mention.
And life. Oh, wow; life. Life is not fun. At all. Let us embark on a journey we shall call
STORY TIME WITH GINGER!!
If I am a little vague, well, that's because you are in your click-haze still. Don't worry, something is bound to make sense some day.
Moved. Yay. Have more room. Yay. I started working at an animal shelter (if you are wondering which one, email me and i will let you know). So yeah.... i am in the office. I am Admin Assistant. I have a cubical. Wooo, the only cubical in the whole place. Yay! A cubical! Hah. It sometimes gets dark and a little lonely. And sometimes I get in a haze. Sometimes it gets cold. When that happens I take a walk to the mailbox to check the mail. By the time I have made it five steps out the door I am sweating. That's right. The end of September. Sweating.
Anyways, I have recently had the wonderful privilege of updating the website. I love *twitch* getting in my haze *twitch* when I can't figure out where something *twitch* is. But that is ok though, i told the website who is boss. It's been being nicer lately.
I also get to work on the newsletter, which hasn't been published since February. Oh, and also on my lunch break now if I have extra time I have been going into the cat room and letting them all flock to me. It is cool. As I may have already told you, you can look any direction and there is a cat. The ceiling; there is a cat way up there sleeping.
I was almost killed the other day. I guess that's news worthy.
I was in the left turn lane (there are two left turn lanes here, i was in the *right* left turn lane). Normally I do not go here so that I don't have to merge on the on ramp. I was at the front of the line, I figured it would be ok.
Light turned green, go go go; and there are people coming from the opposite direction that have a yield to get onto the same on ramp. There are shrubs in the way of them seeing anyone coming. So as I'm getting closer a couple cars dart out in front of me. Ok, jerks, you were faster than me go you. Then suddenly this white truck is going just as fast as I am up his yield area; and is shoved into my lane. I had to swerve to avoid him killing me because he is a moron. There was no where for him to go, there was a cement wall on the other side of him. Luckily, I was aware of where the other cars were around me and knew that it was safe to swerve.
I plan on writing several different places in the city government so that they all understand this hazard. Those people should have to wait for the light, because this is such a busy area. My co-worker said that that same thing happened to him in that same spot. The idiots who are not yielding just look at you like you are the idiot. Man; I HATE IDIOTS.
Oh, moving on finally to why I named this post what I named it.
Once upon a time, on a vacation to Tennessee, a certain person had several music cds about the civil war and Lookout Mountain. I loved the music.
Years later, I asked who it was, what was the album name? anything? I don't know what you're talking about.
Research provided nothing more than me knowing that it is NOT by the Drive By Truckers.
Last night, at work, a song came on. It was a classical version of one of their songs. It made me so angry because nobody knew who it was, but one person recognized it. I have no way of knowing who it was. I will try to find a playlist for that music station: i don't know what type they have, but it is some type of satellite radio. Until then, ARGH!
That's all for now, you may resume your regular hazy broadcasting.

My Rabbit's Foot Doesn't Work...
Life.
It sucks.
I'll try to sum it all up...
One wallet [misplaced/stolen??]
One exhaust pipe broke off but was dragging--still attached.
One reeeeally bad day-ending in one ticket and a tire shredded by still attached exhaust pipe (also damaging wheel-----oh my nice wheels...so sad...)
One flat spare
One job offer ending in the ghetto with two attempted muggings
One bank card stolen out of different wallet and used to pay bills
Two bad wrists with carpal tunnel...(still)
Zero good signs.
Do I have to kill the bunny for the foot to start being lucky? Because I don't want to kill the bunny, he's cute.

A Drive to Help Forget
We went on a five hour drive yesterday up into the mountains.
Here are some pics from the trip, i don't feel much like typing.
I am fighting blogger's way of posting my pics, so I can't get the words to line up right and don't know if it's just me or the way I have my blog...so I'm going to tell you about each pic up here and you'll have to read about them seperate from looking...sorry.
1...This is where we stopped first, to get a good pic of the mountain. Dumb dumb, dumb...dumb......
Never walk barefoot in the desert. Do you see my foot? I'm already wincing and curling my foot up because I had so freaking many cactus spines in my feet...they were bleeding...I still have some in there this morning. I've been using a cane so I don't walk on them.
2...This is the mountain.
3...I think this is Roosevelt Lake, but I don't remember seeing any signs.
4...This is the farthest we went up into the park, Totono National Forest. (Maybe it was Teton...can't remember. But it was a national Forest.) It had turned into a crazy dirt road instead of a crazy paved road.

That's all for now, even though I have a million pics from it.

Google Hits for Gingavitis
I realized a while ago that when you search Google for Gingavitis (it is not spelt correctly, it is correctly spelt Gingivitis, not Gingavitis) that you don't find my blog "gingavitis.blogspot.com" until the second page. So, I am going to be using the word Gingavitis a bit more frequently than I have been in the past Gingavitis blog posts. That way, if someone can't remember my site name (gingavitis.blogspot.com) but they can remember the weird name that i use (Gingavitis) they can search for me and immediately find me, Gingavitis; instead of finding a bunch of people who don't know how to spell Gingivitis correctly and are saying that they have "gingavitis" but they don't because they don't have me, or as I am going to say, lacking a vitis in their gin. Not that that makes any sense, but spelling gingavitis like so doesn't either.
In looking this up, and I can't believe I have never looked this up before in my life (i still haven't yet too much because i know it's something gross), I learned today that Gingavitis (yes i know i spelt it wrong, i have the right) is receeting of the gums and they turn purple-ish. That's the most I have ever known about Gingavitis. I also read that someone was worried they have Gingavitis just because their gums bleed when they brush their teeth. I have heard that this is an unusual occurance for most people, however I have had that problem my whole life; they call it "sensitive gums" not Gingavitis. At least I know that much about gingavitis. But if that is the case, and that means you do have Gingavitis, then here I am, Gingavitis, with Gingavitis. but I doubt that I have Gingavitis, otherwise good ole Dr. Greene next to DQ in Chartucky, MI, my dentist, would have told me I have Gingavitis a long long time ago. He has been my dentist all my life except for that month or so he made ma drive me down to Battle Creek a couple days a week for something I don't remember why....hey ma, why was that? I don't remember. I didn't have Gingavitis, did I? No, I'm kidding. I don't have Gingavitis, I haven't had Gingavitis (to the best my knowledge) and even though I go by the name Gingavitis I dont think I will ever get Gingavitis.
Do any of you know why I call myself that?
Probably.
I'll tell you anyways.
When I was a little girl going to Olivet schools, someone called me Gingavitis because it's a good mix of my first and last name. I never let people know that them picking on me got to me, or as gma taught me they would keep it up. But I actually liked it a little cuz it was really funny, and tolerated it. Then I moved to Chartucky schools and nobody was clever enough there to think it up....ever......imagine that, everyone that ever heard my name in charlotte were only clever enough to think up "hah, are you Vital, Ginger?" or "hah, you must be related to dick Vyyytaaaaal" they were all too dumb to think up Gingavitis. I would tell them Gingavitis was a good one, they'd laugh, mutter "ginger vitale.....ginga-vitis...hah..." and walk away and forget it forever. But whatever......... my point is this: Gingavitis Gingavitis Gingavitis.... come on google, you are my friend!!!
Thank you all for dealing with my crazyness. And now for something completely different.
You may return to your regular broadcast.

GINGAVITIS
